Background

Linux Tips and Tricks started with motivation for a personal needs: to take notes for future lookups


After a while, I started to think that it must be a community website to improve its content's quality. So, here we are.


Technology

We're using Ruby on Rails framework in Linux-Tips.org and MySQL as database.


Linux-Tips.org code writing from scratch and lots of the features planned but not implemented yet. It is a time consuming process and not just only the coding staff is enough; we also trying to hire a good xhtml/css designer. Bandwidth and colocation is also another subject.
